Walkerville Adelaide South Australia
Mia guided her clients through the whole lifecycle of this new build project. She developed the overall concept, design schedule, and design documentation. This provided her client with the an initial concept which they could visualise, and translate into instructions for the builder. Mia also worked with landscape designers to ensure the landscaping merged cohesively with the architectural design. The project had various features which required specialised sourcing, this is evident in the facade which utlises multiple materials and finishes, providing architectural integrity to the overall design. Although a traditional material, a contemporary bluestone was sourced for the feature facade, ensuring the material was within the architectural vision. Mia specified and coordinated the custom bronze powder coated door of the vehicle storage. This project also saw Mia specifying and designing furniture and artwork that the owners purchased from overseas.
